Chapter Six
The weather calmed down about twenty minutes later, but the damage was done. The antenna was gone, and the city had more crumbling buildings. We occasionally heard a rumble and the floor would shake. I wondered how many structures would be left standing by the time we fixed the ship. Max was down with the engine again, while I worked in the cockpit. The navigation was up as well as most of the critical systems like life support. Communications, however… The wire in my hand sparked and I dropped it, wrenching my middle as I jerked back. No fire? Good. I hugged my stomach, closing my eyes and taking a few breaths. Fuck, that hurt. As long as flames weren’t about to cook us, I was just going to sit here a second. I needed another numbing agent but there were only three left in the medic kit. After that, I’d be left with nothing but willpower.
“I’m just going to see if…” Max paused. “You okay?”
“Yup.” I straightened, the pain softening. “Where are you going?”
“Washing up while the sun’s still up.”
I could use a shower too. At the very least, I had to change my bandages. I got to my feet myself and stumbled down the stairs. Max stomped down the ramp. I swear the man didn’t know how to walk softly. I sat down on the seat, leaning back as I opened the medic kit. My head felt better. I probed the area softly with two fingers; the bump was almost gone, but it was still sore though. Even my back felt okay. It was just my nose and ribs. Oh yeah, and the gunshot wound. I took the numbing agent but this time I only used half of the substance. I could work with half. It’d last longer, too. Warmth rushed through my body followed by the absolute lack of pain. I sighed. Brilliant. Before I knew it, my eyes were getting heavy. Eh, a nap wouldn’t hurt. Being exhausted wouldn’t help our efforts. I eased down to the bench, shoved the medic kit underneath, and closed my eyes. A few minutes, that was all I needed. Just a few minutes, pain free and sleeping. Yeah…
A moan filtered through my fuzzy mind and I opened my eyes. I couldn’t have slept long. Max must be … standing over me?
“Max?” He was naked, as in no fucking clothes, standing over me as he fisted his cock.
“Yeah, Elric?”
“Um. Hi.”
Max smiled, staring down at me. “Hey.” He licked his lips, gripping his cock tight and stroking from bottom to top.
Damn, he looked amazing naked. I don’t mean better than average, either. Max was all muscle, from his thick thighs to his defined abs to his flexing biceps. There wasn’t an ounce of fat on the man and it made my mouth water. His cock was just as impressive. It was wide and long with the slightest curve. The foreskin was pulled back, showing his cockhead and the white bead of cum at his slit.
